Efusjon Review – Is This Company For Real, Or Just All Hype?

Well, it’s a public online instrument for interacting with others. Social media came into existence long ago, with napster, which was social media in its initial form. Myspace has been around for a while too, whereas, Twitter and Facebook are newer entrants into the social media platform. Since these avenues of communication are here to stay, social media SEO is extremely necessary.

SEO nowadays is all about relevancy and popularity. You need to become an authority within your field and the best way to do that is through your writing and web copy.

Come up with a prize (or many prizes) that would be appealing to your readers. The prizes will make or break your contest. If you have nothing that people want, they won’t play to win. So, come up with attractive prizes that people can’t resist. The prize could be a package of your products and services, a cash prize, prepaid gift cards (which are very popular these days) or a paid vacation to a cool destination. Get this part right and your off to great start.

One way links from other sites are like nectar to Google. I’m sure there is a correlation somewhere between that and the popularity of Social Media Marketing. Of course before you can get links you have to be noticed and that’s where bookmarking sites such as Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon come in.

For example, if you are using Facebook as part of your marketing campaign and all you are doing is posting sales and promotions on your FB page you are using social media the wrong way. What is worse, you may be pushing those customers/fans away. No one joins Facebook to be sold to. They join FB to connect with people (friends, family, favorite actors, musicians, etc) They join to have a connection… a relationship.

A big mistake that many companies make when it comes to Facebook is to set up their page… then do nothing. If you do not give people a reason to visit your page frequently, they won’t! Make sure your customers and potential customers see the value in visiting your page regularly. We are unlikely to do things that don’t have a payoff, so give people a reason to visit your page.

The most important thing for businesses to remember is this – don’t be fake, don’t be annoying, and for heaven’s sake, don’t be too promotional. Remember, if a Twitter fan says hi, the correct response is not “Hi, have you seen our latest sale? Find more information here!”. The key word is honesty. If you see a so-called Social Media Marketing expert doing it, do the opposite (since they’re the kings of bad business twitter strategies, you know). Keep that in mind, Twitter honestly, and watch the followers trickle in. You’ll feel better about it too.
