Marketing is the stage of making an iPhone app that when done properly your banker, family, friends and people you just met really love you. Why you say, well other than family and probably some of them too, its the money, money, money and hopefully at this stage you have more than enough to go around for everyone. Do some research to find the blogs, and the authors themselves, who are writing about your direct competitors. Reach out to the authors and illustrate your app to them. Selling ideas to bloggers is tricky stuff. Put yourself in their shoes, understand their motives, and offer them something you feel they would want.
One of these companies is called Biznessapps, they allow you to create a limited type of app that runs on Android, iOS and HTML5. It’s a five step process. Firstly you select your functionality by selecting tabs. These cover the likes of ‘Home tab’, ‘Messages tab’, ‘Restaurant reservations tab’ and ‘RSS feed tab’ there are many others but they are of a limited type (basically to design a leaflet style app).
What makes a mobile app a joy to use? Is it the simplicity of concept, the amazing graphics, or the convenience it brings to the lives of those who use it? In short, it is…and it isn’t!
On the internet, you will find thousands of software of different operating system. But there are very little amount of software which get top in the app store. Many developers are involved in developing mobile applications. Only a few reach to their goal. There are many ways of how to promote an app. The first way is video marketing. You have to create a short video featuring on your product. You have to include all the features inside the video. After creating the video, submit it into different video sharing sites. YouTube and Google video are featured and top video sharing sites in online. You can submit your video here without any charge. You are able to get a large number of feedbacks through the video. This is the most effective advertising way of product because people get details about the product.
I tried all the others out there (Tweetie, Twitteralator, EchoFon, HootSuite, etc.) and this is by far my favorite. If they ONLY supported timed tweets (setup a tweet for delayed posting) it would be the end-all-be-all. It’s very user friendly and intuitive and supports all Twitter functions you need in a simple interface. I use it all the time to repost my favorite tweets (blog posts) to get more people on my list. It’s very effective.
